Independent Circuit and Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW)
Alba Fyre started her career as a professional wrestler in May 2009 at SWA Battkezone on European independent circuit, where she lost her debut match which was a decider for the number one contender for the NWA Scottish Heavyweight Championship. After competing at the European independent circuit, she moved to Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) in 2011 and made her first appearance at The Notorious I.C.W., where she defeated Carmel.
In May 2013, Alba Fyre tasted her first championship victory when she won the Fierce Female Championship by defeating Viper in a tournament final. In May 2015, while competing in a 20-Woman Rumble, she lost the championship title to Viper, ending her reign of 755 days. In November 2016, Alba Fyre won her second ever championship after defeating champion Carmel Jacob and Viper at Fear and Loathing IX in a three-way match to win the ICW Women Championship.
In July 2017, Alba Fyre lost the championship title to Kasey Owens in 37 seconds at Shug's Hoose Party IV, and won it back in October that year at Fight Club tapings. She eventually lost the title in November at Fear & Loathing X to Kasey Owens and Viper in a three-way steel cage match.
In December 2018, at the inaugural Queen of Insanity match at Fear and Loathing XI, Alba Fyre defeated Viper to win the Women's Championship.
Other wrestling competitions Alba Fyre competited in include the Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling between 2014 and 2015, and the World of Sports between 2018 and 2019 where she won the WOS Women's Championship against Viper and Bea Priestly in a three-way match.
WWE
Alba Fyre first tasted WWE action in October 2015 when she made an appearance on NXT and lost to Nia Jax. In July 2017, she made an appearance in WWE's inaugural Mae Young Classic where she lost in the first round to Princesa Sugehit.
In January 2019, Alba Fyre officially signed with the WWE and in March that year she made her first NXT UK appearance where she defeated Candy Floss. After earning an opportunity at the NXT UK Women's Championship in June, Fyre won the championship title in July by defeating the champion, Toni Storm, at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff and became the first wrestler born in the UK to hold the title.
After defending the UK Women's Championship on multiple occasions, Alba Fyre eventually lost to Meiko Satomura in March 2021 and ended her championship title reign of 649 days, a record no other female wrestler has broken till this day.
In April 2022, while competing in the NXT division of WWE, Alba Fyre who had been competing under the ring name “Kay Lee Ray” had her ring name changed from Kay Lee Ray to Alba Fyre, and in May 2023, she made her debut on WWE's SmackDown after being drafted to the SmackDown brand along with her tag team partner, Isla Dawn.
