Paige Bueckers was born on October 20, 2001, in the United States, Edina, Minnesota, to be precise but she grew up in St. Louis Park. Her mother, Amy Fuller (née Dettbarn) was once an athlete who represented the University of St. Thomas track and field while her father, Bob Bueckers, is a software engineer who played basketball as a point guard in high school.
At the age of five, she started playing basketball as well as other sports like soccer and baseball. When Paige's father saw her talent in basketball, he began training her until she got to seventh grade.
Education
Paige Bueckers attended Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and while in seventh grade she was already playing for the school's tenth-grade and junior varsity basketball teams.

High School Career
While in her freshman season for Hopkins High School in 2016, Paige Bueckers made her debut for the team in their 74–34 win over Osseo Senior High School. In that match, she recorded 28 points, four assists, and five steals. By the end of the year, she was already an important member of the team as well as one of its leading passers and scorers.
In February 2019, Paige Bueckers surpassed a record-breaking 2,000 career points after she recorded 43 points in her team's 69–66 win over Wayzata High School, and in January 2020, she was featured on the cover of Slam, a basketball magazine. She became the first female high school player to achieve that feat.
