  • Her real name is Carolina Shiino although it is sometimes written as Karolina Shiino
  • She was born on August 24, 1997, in Ternopil, Ukraine
  • She is currently 26 years old but will turn 27 by August 2024
  • She was born to two Ukrainian parents although her mother, Lana Shiino, later moved to Japan in 2002 when she remarried a Japanese man
  • Although she is a Ukrainian by birth, Karolina Shiino is also a Japanese by naturalization as she has lived in the country for over 20 years
  • She studied as an exchange student at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies in 2018 and acquired a degree in International Development from Nagoya University in 2020
  • She started her career as a model in 2012 when she was just 15 years old
  • She has since gone on to make a name for herself in the modelling industry within and outside Japan, featuring in a TV commercial for Häagen-Dazs in 2017 and walking the runway at the Amazon Fashion Week held in Tokyo in 2019
  • She also won the Best Body Japan competition in Tokyo, Japan, in 2017 and emerged as a winner again three years later when the competition was held in Kanto, Japan
