  • Although not much is known about his early life, it is at least known that his mother is Ms Elizabeth Omolo, a veteran broadcaster who worked for a long period of time at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC)
  • He started his career as a Junior Officer at Post Bank Kenya in the 1980s before picking an interest in the media 
  • He pitched an idea of becoming the presenter of Post Bank Premium Bond Draws, a popular show of Post Bank Kenya that airs on Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) TV. After being rejected multiple times, he was eventually given the opportunity to present the show
